  1. Awesome and so true. Balance is the key to life! Thank you so much for your help and inspiration *hugs*

  2. Gwenny, you rank right up there with Noony in the motivation department. What you\’ve written here makes total sense (and I hope I can do it, I really want to). I sure hope I\’m more balanced out in the inside than the outside…

You\’re wonderfully strong at writing articles, do you know that? You really are.

I\’m looking forward to the Goals post.

  3. I forgot to tell you that I love the photo you chose! It\’s the perfect enhancement for the post.

I kiss my fingers to you.

  4. Awww! Thanks Andi. *glomp*

I\’ll try to put lots of thought into my next post and make sure it\’s not so rambly. I really like writing \’articles\’ because it\’s my voice, not a character voice, so it\’s easier.

I\’m really glad both of you ladies took something away from it. Thanks girls!

    ~Gwen

  5. Wow, there\’s a lot of stuff in there that I completely agree, and other stuff whee I think I need to try. Great post, very informative *huggles*

  6. This is one of those posts that I starred in my Google Reader, because there\’s a lot of great information and learning experiences here that I know I\’ll want to refer back to.

I also imagine that taking the time to write this helped YOU tremendously, too.

(Yeah, I know this is my third comment. I am Stalkerama!)

  7. Excellent article, Gwen.

I\’d love to hole up and write (and I do on the occasional Saturday), but for the most part I\’ve had to learn to make the most of small portions of time. An hour before work, a half-hour at lunch, every now and then a few stolen minutes in the evenings. It might not feel like much, but it all counts and the words add up…

  8. Good Stuff, Gwenny! I believe that; we can\’t live in a vacuum without interaction. What well would we be drawing from for inspiration.

  9. Sorry I\’m late commenting – my struggle for balance has included a new shift that includes more of a focus on home/family life during the week. *sigh*

You\’ve hit some very valid and important points dead-on here. It\’s such a struggle and I have a feeling it\’s ever-evolving with us.

Good luck with your balance, and I\’ll enjoy the time I do get with you when you\’re not hidden away in your writing cave. *hugs*

  10. A very difficult topic indeed, to understand and actually put into use in one\’s life.
Good to know we all have the same problems, A writer is a writer is a writer…
    and we\’re in good company!
