Q Is For… Quiet Time!
Contributed by Nicole.
‘Quiet Time’ can be a relative term that is conditional to the person. Maybe ‘Personal Time’ would be a better way of phrasing it. It is an individual’s way of recharging or just letting the world fall away for a moment or two. It could mean putting on music and either drifting away or letting the drum sent your own heart beat. It could be working on an engine, picking up knitting needles, uncapping a marker to color a picture; it is any way that you can take a deep breath and let some of your stress go.
These personal moments are very important and should not be neglected.
Yes indeed. I crave for quiet time nowadays…for me music and self grooming and a walk with music make me stress free

Hear, hear! This quiet time, personal time, whatever you want to call it, is CRUCIAL for all of us, I believe. And you’re so right that it can take a different form for each one of us. Nobody’s “personal time” will look exactly like somebody else’s and there’s no reason why it should.
Thanks for a wise post!
Quiet time for me this morning has been catching up responding to these wonderful blogs! I too like blasting out a song and dancing. Quiet time is also feeding and watching birds, watching squirrels and rabbits in the garden (and our duck couple is back!)
Quiet time for me is to light up some candles and grab a book. It’s so peaceful to get lost in pages of good writing.
Everyone needs some quiet time. It has many benefits.
